I purchased two packages of Fried Round Gluten from Yamibuy and it tasted “abnormal”. After checking carefully, I realized the stamped “Use Before Date” on both packages were December 2023, but I bought these items in April’2025. REALLY - You are selling foods online MORE THAN ONE year passing its expiration date???!!!

Amazing product that is always syncing with the Chinese Market. I can’t get those things anywhere but with Yami. Cosmetics products, mask, high-tech kitchen appliances it has all. Hope the trades war is not too hard on you guys.

I received an email on April 7 that items have been delivered. I sent an email to inform that i did not receive the package and the photo showing the delivered item was not my address. Its now apr 17 and i have yet to receive a refund. The funny thing is customer service actually wrote to say they are happy that i have received the item. You guys should really look at how amazon handles their return. I will stop ordering from yamibuy from now on.

I purchased something on this app and they never sent it to me. I tried contacting customer service and they were unable to either give me a refund or ship my package to me which was very confusing. I really don’t even know what this if this app is real or if it’s just a scam honestly if you want something, it’s better to buy for more reliable sources instead of this app because I really don’t trust it.

辣椒酱来的时候瓶子碎了，辣油淋到别的包装，瓷碗碎了，面条破了两包。联系了两次客服，说会退款碎了和包装明显破了的，有点破的不算，辣油自己处理。最后退款给我了一个已经在两天前过期的礼品卡，这个礼品卡还是因为我之前买东西太多，自动升级为了gold会员，亚米送的。呵呵无语。

I ordered something realized they were way cheaper with my normal vendor so I go to cancel the order, it wouldn’t let me and it’s Sunday so no customer calls or live chat. So I emailed them 6 hours before they shipped it out to cancel it only for them to get back to me LITERALLY RIGHT AFTER THEY SHIP IT OUT. To then say yeah we can’t refund you we sent it out already. When I need that money back asap. No one wants over priced expensive products.

I have bought several times from them. They used to be good at communicating. Then one time when I placed order for 6 items and i missed 3 items. They told me they checked their warehouse camera and everything was packed. I told them the box was re taped and I even sent them the security camera from my apt which I installed specifically for delivery. All they replied was tell me to report to police…they wouldnt even refund me. I dont think I will buy from them again. I suspected it’s the same driver who stole stuff but couldnt tell.

Loved using this while I could. Requires location access since a recent update, which I do not accept, and cannot use it anymore. Website still works without location access though, so that’s nice. Please let me know if you remove this requirement.

I placed an order in January totaling over $80, expecting to receive my items in a reasonable timeframe. However, as of now, I still have not received my order. After waiting patiently, I reached out to customer service and requested a refund. They assured me that the refund had been processed, but I have yet to see any money returned. To make matters worse, I didn’t use a bank card for the purchase, which makes the situation even more frustrating. Not only am I left without the items I paid for, but I also haven't received the refund they claimed to have issued. The lack of communication and resolution has been extremely disappointing. I had high hopes when ordering, but this experience has completely changed my perspective. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this company unless you’re prepared to deal with delays, unfulfilled orders, and questionable refund practices.

Love the app. It offers a wide variety of items from Asian and the selection is great at a reasonable price. And never had any trouble with anything.

The app itself is ok, but since they went with OnTrac shipping company, it has been nothing but nightmare. I have lost 2 package since the last couple months. And the costume service of Yami is always unavailable. I’m switching to Weee, until yami change their shipping company.

I downloaded this app because it’s hard to find kaya coconut jam in PA, but the design of the search function makes it hard to find in-app too! Unfortunately the results when you search “kaya jam” is everything with EITHER word, so every jam flavor and everything with kaya or a similar word is listed. So, I then tried searching for is using “pandan” (a green leaf and common kaya jam flavor), but my results turned up everything “PANDAS”, which is probably a good portion of Yami’s inventory. Please fix the search function to make it easier to find products. Thanks

I’m really disappointed with Yamibuy. The items I received were low quality and didn’t match the descriptions or photos on the app. To make matters worse, they make you pay for returns, even when the product is defective or not as advertised. There’s no customer service to help resolve issues, so you’re stuck dealing with the hassle yourself. The whole experience feels like a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone looking for quality products or good service.

I love the app and everything sold on the app. But my experience with customer service was not great. I ordered for the first time and upon delivery I opened everything to see a bunch of dates that appeared to be expiration dates. I was told they were production dates and that there should’ve been another date that was the expiration date. I explained to customer service that there was only ONE DATE on certain items. They literally argued with me about it not being expired. All I was trying to confirm was that I didn’t sit here and spend almost $100 on expired food. My point is, customer service is very rude and had the nerve to send me something in a whole different language and told me to use a translator to understand.

I ordered the amount needed for free shipping ($50) when purchasing items from Yami and when I clicked into checkout it says $45 shipping fee for Hawaii and Alaska Users! Basically it’s advertising free shipping but it’s not giving us free shipping. False advertisement!

I ordered like $200, they spilt into two deliveries, one came the next morning and the other one never arrived like 18 days. I literally didn’t have any updates about the delivery either. I tried to log in my account and it kept saying my account info didn’t match.ok ,I reset my password three times and each time interval was three hours but still failed.I wrote an email but haven’t received anything back yet.This app is literally trash and the customer service needs improvement!

As a new person for the first time in the e-commerce platform to buy more than 200 dollars of things, and completed the 10-star praise questionnaire, also recommended to friends to register shopping. The platform cancelled my order without any reason, cheated my personal information, my residence information, my email and credit card information, cheated my friend promotion degree, and used it to show its influence. I hope the App platform will severely punish such bad behavior.

Never thought I would use an app to purchase Asian grocery and snacks but their selection is just too tempting. I made four orders within a month. All of them arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I even ordered directly from Taiwan! That order arrived in about 5 days and everything was in perfect condition. I have not been disappointed with anything yet. I cannot be happier with the app and am planning to try the ready made foods next! Don’t hesitate, just try it if you like Asian food and is not privileged to have Asian grocery stores near you. I have access to them but I just love the selection and wide variety on the app!

I ordered snack products that were “fulfilled by Yami.” It shipped out and delivered by “7 Hour Express” in less than 24hrs. I’m impressed it arrived so quickly. Snacks are as advertised and undamaged.

If you guys would consider accepting EBT or Snap Food that would help a lot of us out receiving good from Asia our hometown for us in the US

My order was lost due to carrier mistakes, so I contacted service via live chat and got a quick response. Within 2 minutes my order was rescheduled and I got compensated with 300 points added to my account.

Overpriced items, possibly fake goods, and unreliable shipping. The 2-day shipping is false advertising and perishable food is “out for delivery” for consecutive days later than when it should’ve already arrived.
